Corporate Social Responsibility

Indonesia Power has a big concern to improving stakeholder's quality of life. The effort implemented by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that has aim for open bigger access for community surrounding power plant.  

Characteristics of Indonesia Power CSR program are: 

  1. participative based
  2. community based and local resource based
  3. Continuous development

These programs are divide to three main activities, namely: Community Assistance, Community Relations, and Community Empowerment that known as IP CARE (Indonesia Power Community Assistance, Relation and Empowerment).

Indonesia Power has various activities of CSR, such as:

  • Mangrove rehabilitation program (surround of all thermal power plant, 2005-2007)
  • Coral Reef Rehabilitation Program (Bali, 2005-2008)
  • Rare Species (Leucopsar Rothchildi) Conservation (Bali Barat National Park, 2006)

  • Environment Field School for River Basin Community (Saguling GBU, 2007-2009; Mrica GBU 2008-2009)
  • Community Based Garbage Management (Suralaya GBU, 2007-2008)
